Refund Policy

Effective Date: 21 November 2024

Introduction

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing refunds for purchases or payments made for training programmes and services, as well as returns for physical goods, offered by HR Forum Malaysia Sdn Bhd and/or HR Forum Consulting Sdn Bhd. Please read this policy carefully before making a payment.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances: 

  • Course Cancellation by the Training Provider: If the training provider cancels a course, a full refund will be issued to all enrolled participants. 
  • Force Majeure Events: In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters or government-imposed restrictions, refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis. 

Refund Process

To request a refund, please submit a written request to sophie@malaysiahrforum.com within fourteen (14) days of the incident or the start date of the course, whichever is earlier. 

Your refund request will be reviewed, and a decision will be made within ten (10) business days. If approved, the refund will be processed within twenty (20) business days and credited to the original payment method. 

Non-Refundable Fees

Certain fees may be non-refundable, including but not limited to: 

  • Administrative Fees: These fees cover the costs associated with processing your enrollment and providing course materials. 
  • Third-Party Fees: Fees charged by third-party service providers, such as payment processors. 

Physical Goods Return

For physical goods purchased, such as books, merchandise, or training materials, the following return policy applies:

  • Return Window: Items must be returned within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • Condition: Items must be returned in their original condition, unused, and in their original packaging.
  • Refund or Exchange: Upon inspection, a refund or exchange may be issued, depending on the availability of the item.
  • Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to a product defect or error on our part.

Limitation of Liability

HR Forum Malaysia Sdn Bhd and/or HR Forum Consulting Sdn Bhd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with this Refund Policy or the training programs and services offered. 

Governing Law

This Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. 

Changes to the Refund Policy

HR Forum Malaysia Sdn Bhd and/or HR Forum Consulting Sdn Bhd reserves the right to modify or amend this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
