Preamble

This Refund and Return Policy outline the terms and conditions governing refund requests for seminars and webinars organized solely by Malaysia HR Forum. It applies exclusively to events directly managed by Malaysia HR Forum and does not extend to third-party programs or services. All participants are strongly encouraged to review this policy carefully before making any payment. By registering for a seminar or webinar, participants acknowledge and agree to the terms stated herein.

 

Part 1: Eligibility for Refunds

  1. Refunds may be granted under the following circumstances:

    1. Course Cancellation by Malaysia HR Forum: If a scheduled training program is cancelled by the provider, a full refund will be issued to all registered participants.

    2. Force Majeure Events: Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, public health emergencies, or government-imposed restrictions.


Part 2: Refund Request Procedure

  1. To initiate a refund request, participants must submit a written application to sophie@malaysiahrforum.com within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of the incident or the scheduled start date of the course, whichever is earlier. All requests will be reviewed, and a decision will be communicated within ten (10) business days. If approved, the refund will be processed within twenty (20) business days and credited to the original payment method.


Part 3: Non-Refundable Fees

  1. The following fees are non-refundable:

    1. Administrative Fees: These cover costs related to registration, course preparation, and materials.

    2. Third-Party Charges: Fees imposed by external service providers, such as payment gateways or logistics partners.

 

Part 4: Return of Physical Goods

  1. For physical items purchased (e.g., books, merchandise, training kits), the following conditions apply:

    1. Return Period: Items must be returned within 30 days of receipt.

    2. Condition: Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.

    3. Refund or Exchange: Upon inspection, a refund or exchange will be offered based on item availability.

    4. Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the return is due to a defect or error on the part of Malaysia HR Forum.

 

Part 5: Limitation of Liability

  1. Malaysia HR Forum shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to this policy or the services provided.

 

Part 6: Cross-Border Transfers

  1. Personal data may be transferred outside Malaysia only to countries that offer an adequate level of data protection or where appropriate contractual safeguards are in place.

 

Part 7: Governing Law

  1. This policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.

 

Part 8: Amendments to the Policy

  1. Malaysia HR Forum reserves the right to revise or update this Refund and Return Policy at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon publication on the official website.
