Job Summary
The Editor is responsible for managing the organization’s editorial and digital publishing activities, from content planning and development through editing, proofreading, approval, and publication. The role involves coordinating with trainers, writers, subject-matter experts, and internal teams to ensure content is accurate, engaging, consistent, and aligned with organizational and brand standards.

- Publication Management
- Manage editorial schedules, content planning, and publication deadlines.
- Review, edit, and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and suitability for the target audience.
- Coordinate content submissions and approvals with trainers, contributors, and internal teams.
- Publication Tools
- Manage and update content using digital publishing platforms.
- Upload and format articles, images, documents, links, and other digital content.
- Check publication layout, functionality, and compatibility across desktop and mobile devices.
- E-Newsletter Production
- Plan, develop, edit, and produce regular e-newsletters.
- Coordinate newsletter content on training, events, industry updates, publications, and organizational activities.
- Test newsletters before distribution and monitor engagement analytics for improvement.
- Content Development
- Develop and edit articles, announcements, interviews, summaries, and other editorial content.
- Work with trainers and subject-matter experts to turn technical information into clear and engaging content.
- Identify relevant industry topics and repurpose existing content for publications and digital channels.
- Editorial Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all content is accurate, grammatically correct, consistent, and professionally presented.
- Maintain editorial, branding, copyright, and organizational standards.
- Obtain necessary approvals before publishing content.
- Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with training, marketing, membership, design, and management teams.
- Liaise with writers, trainers, contributors, and subject-matter experts to obtain and finalize content.
- Monitor content submissions, approvals, and publication deadlines.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Publishing, Marketing, Media, or any related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in editing, publishing, content management, communications, or e-newsletter production.
- Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple publications and deadlines.
- Good research and fact-checking skills.
