Manager 360: Essential Skills for Today’s Workplace’ is a highly practical and experiential 2-day workshop designed to help new and emerging managers transition confidently into effective people leaders. The programme equips participants with essential skills to navigate the demands of modern management, including communication, workplace influence, prioritisation, delegation, accountability, conflict resolution, psychological safety, and employee engagement.
Participants will develop practical strategies to communicate with clarity, influence effectively, delegate responsibilities, and establish accountability across their teams. The programme also explores approaches to resolving workplace conflicts, fostering psychological safety, and managing hybrid and multigenerational teams with different expectations, communication styles, and working preferences.
As organisations continue to embrace technology and artificial intelligence, participants will learn how to lead effectively in AI-enabled workplaces while maintaining human connection, trust, and sound leadership judgement. The programme also introduces microstress and its impact on new managers, helping participants recognise everyday pressures and apply practical strategies to manage them effectively. Through interactive activities, simulations, role-plays, case studies, and reflective discussions, participants will apply these concepts to realistic workplace situations and strengthen their confidence in handling common management challenges.
By the end of the workshop, participants will be better prepared to lead teams effectively, build trust, manage workplace challenges, and create collaborative, accountable, and high-performing teams.

Edward Chan is a seasoned professional in the hospitality, operations, social enterprise, and management consulting industries with a focus on training, learning, talent development, engagement, and as well as organizational culture. He was recognized as the Best Executive Coaching Provider for HR Vendor of the Year in 2019. He stands out as one of the few coaches in Southeast Asia with both EQ-i 2.0 Certification and a Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology (MAPPCP) from the University of East London.
